Not long after a fifth person was charged in connection with the 12th Avenue shooting death, a sixth person is facing charges.
The Regina Police Service announced in a release Thursday afternoon that an 18-year-old man has also been charged.

According to police, officers were called to a home on the 1000 block of 12th Avenue just before 1 a.m. on Nov. 1.
“Upon arrival, police located a 19 year-old male who was the victim of a gunshot wound. EMS declared the male deceased on scene,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“The name of the victim will not be released at the request of the family.”
The 18-year-old is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
He will make his first court appearance on Jan. 5, 2026 in Regina Provincial Court.
Five others facing charges
A 20-year-old man is facing a charge of acting as an accessory to murder after the fact.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
A 44-year-old man, a 43-year-old woman and 17-year-old girl have also been charged as accessories to murder after the fact. Police said the teen girl was also charged with possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
Police said the case marks the city’s 11th homicide investigation of 2025.
