A 60-year-old man from Wollaston Lake has been charged with second-degree murder after the death of a man in the remote northern community last week.
The body of 33-year-old Michael Denechezhe was found at a Wollaston Lake home on Dec. 17 after officers received a call, and a suspicious death investigation was launched.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Dec. 22 the man charged was arrested in Saskatoon on Dec. 19 after the Major Crimes Unit searched a home in Wollaston Lake.
He was scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Monday.
