Christmas holidays means changes to city services and facilities on Thursday and Friday in Regina.
Civic offices are closed both days.

The landfill is closing early at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 24, and will be closed on Christmas Day.
Garbage and recycling collections scheduled for Dec. 25 will be picked up on Dec. 27. Regular service will apply on Dec. 26.
Regina Transit will not be operating on Dec. 25. Both the Information Centre and RIDELine will also be closed. On Boxing Day, Sunday routes and schedules will apply, but the Information Centre and RIDELine will be closed.
Paratransit service will operate holiday schedule on Dec. 25 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Dec. 26, the hours will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Parking meters are not in effect on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The North West Leisure and Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre are both closed on Christmas Day, but will be open on Boxing Day from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre will also be closed on Dec. 25, but open on Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Regina Urgent Care Centre will be operating at reduced hours over the holidays. The centre is usually open from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. seven days a week, but will be closed on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The centre will also close early at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31.
“During times when the Regina Urgent Care Centre is not operating, patients experiencing medical emergencies should call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department,” the Saskatchewan Health Authority advised in a statement.
