“One of the passengers, a 19 year-old female was unconscious. Two other male passengers were suffering from what appeared to be minor injuries.”
Police said firefighters were called to help get the unconscious passenger out of the vehicle, and all four occupants were treated for their injuries at a local hospital and released.
The driver, meanwhile, is now facing charges including operating a conveyance while impaired by alcohol causing bodily harm, exceeding 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He’s set to appear in Regina Provincial Court on Feb. 4, police noted.
