RCMP officers seized nine firearms and three bows from a home on the Fishing Lake First Nation this week.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, Mounties obtained a warrant and searched the home on Wednesday “after investigation determined there was illegally-possessed firearms inside of it.”

Along with the guns, a crossbow and a pair of compound bows, Mounties said officers also sized more than 450 rounds of ammunition.
A 30-year-old resident of the First Nation southeast of Humboldt is now facing charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm and unsafe storage of firearms, the RCMP said.
He was scheduled to appear in court in Wynyard on Thursday morning.
