Due to road conditions in the province on Saturday, a few sporting events have been postponed.
The University of Regina announced the basketball games and men’s hockey game between the University of Regina Cougars and the Saskatchewan Huskies in Regina have been postponed to a later date.
Saturday’s women’s hockey game between the Cougars and Huskies in Saskatoon has also been postponed. The U of S has posted the women’s hockey game has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. on Feb. 1, at Merlis Belsher Place.
The two women’s basketball teams are currently first and second place in the Canada West standings with the Huskies currently undefeated and on a 47-game winning streak dating back to last season.
The Huskies defeated the Cougars on Thursday.

Replacement dates and times will be announced as soon as confirmed.
In the WHL, the Regina Pats also announced the postponement of their game at the Brandt Centre against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
The game will now be played on Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Brandt Centre.
All game tickets purchased, inclusive of vouchers redeemed for this game, will be honoured according to the club.
