One of the two men wanted in connection with a stabbing on the Muskoday First Nation has been arrested, while police are still searching for the second suspect.
The Saskatchewan RCMP said 34-year-old Jason Stonestand was arrested by Prince Albert police officers on Wednesday evening, and is due to appear in court on Thursday. Meanwhile, 27-year-old Chance Smith is still wanted, and police asked the public to be on the lookout.

Stonestand has been charged with two counts of possessing weapons or firearms contrary to a court order and an additional charge of pointing a firearm. Smith, meanwhile, is facing two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence and wearing a disguise with intent.
The charges stem from an incident on Jan. 24, when two people were stabbed on the First Nation. Officers were called to a home at around 6:30 p.m. where they found the two adult male victims. Both were taken to hospital for treatment by paramedics and STARS.
“Investigation determined four suspects wearing masks entered a residence on Muskoday First Nation. Two of the suspects assaulted the victims,” the RCMP said in a statement. “All four suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that was later located by police with no occupants inside.”
Smith was described as six-foot-two, weighing 152 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Police advised anyone who spots Smith to avoid approaching him and report the sighting to police or Crime Stoppers.
