Saskatchewan RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team has charged three men at a business in North Battleford after seizing cocaine, methamphetamine, and weapons.
On Feb 7, RCMP located a vehicle that was previously reported stolen during a patrol in North Battleford. The vehicle was parked at a business on the Highway 16 Bypass with no occupants and was recovered by police.

While at the business investigating the stolen vehicle, RCMP officers said they saw a man with a firearm inside the business. RCMP entered the business and arrested three men.
Officers obtained a warrant and searched a room in the business where the men were arrested. During the search, police said they recovered 379 grams of powder cocaine, approximately 24 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of crystal methamphetamine, a firearm, a sword, bear spray, ammunition, and a sum of cash were located and seized.
As a result of further investigation, a 47-year-old man from Little Pine First Nation, a 34-year-old man from North Battleford, and a 22-year-old man from Little Pine First Nation, were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing a firearm with a tampered serial number and two counts of unsafe storage of firearm/ammunition.
The 47-year-old was also charged with two counts of possessing a firearm/ammunition when knowing it is unauthorized and four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions.
The 22-year-old was also charged with two counts, of possessinga firearm or ammunition when knowing it is unauthorized.
All three appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Feb 9.
