Officers responded to a report that a vehicle was reportedly “swerving and hitting curbs as it travelled down the road,” in the Lakeview neighbourhood Monday morning.
The police said they were dispatched at about 6:45 a.m., but when they arrived to the area, the vehicle was no longer there.

Police said in a news release that officers found the suspect in the area of Regency Crescent and Third Avenue North, where they attempted a traffic stop.
A police dog was used to find the suspect, who police said was hiding under a vehicle in the 600 block of Robinson Street.
The suspect was taken into custody without further incident, according to police.
The 18-year-old has been charged with evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing a peace officer, hit and run and breach of curfew.
His first court appearance has yet to be set, according to police.
