Saskatchewan musician, Colter Wall, has cancelled all upcoming live performances over mental health concerns.
Wall shared in a social media post on Wednesday that he is taking an “indefinite hiatus” from performing live.
The Swift Current artist said on Instagram that he is “mentally unwell.” Despite that, he has “pushed himself to continue with touring,” Wall shared online.

“As a result, my mental health has only further declined.”
He shared that the decision came after discussions with his team.
“Myself and the band and the crew are very grateful for the privilege to play music together for you. We thank you for it,” Wall wrote online.
Wall is the son of former Saskatchewan Premier, Brad Wall, who also shared his son’s message to social media.
The former premier included a caption alongside the post.
“I could not be more of proud of him.” Brad said of Colter. “We (especially men it seems) need to be honest and willing to talk about mental health issues. It is a key step to getting better.”
Colter Wall was scheduled to perform in Cincinnati, Oh., on March 13 and in Detroit, Mich., on March 14. Both performances were set to be alongside musician Kade Hoffman.
