A 43-year-old man is facing a charge of arson with disregard for human life after allegedly setting a fire at a Regina condo complex in February.
According to police, the fire happened on the evening of February 27 at a building on Angus Street, and one unit was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Police said an investigation determined the fire was not accidental.
“Officers identified the person responsible for starting the fire in a manner that demonstrated a reckless disregard for human life,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
The alleged arsonist appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, police noted.
Woman charged after alleged robbery
A 24-year-old woman is facing a charge of robbery after an incident on Dewdney Avenue on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the robbery was reported shortly before 10 a.m.
“Upon speaking with them, police learned that a victim had been robbed and pushed to the ground, causing their head to strike the pavement. The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound toward Albert Street,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
The alleged victim declined to be hospitalized, police said. The suspect was located soon after on Angus Street, and was arrested without further incident.
Man charged after allegedly fleeing from cops in stolen vehicle
A 28-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly running from police in Regina in a stolen vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, officers were called to East Haughton Road at around 1 p.m. for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located heading north on Woodland Grove, police said, but the driver fled from a traffic stop.
“A short time later, the vehicle was observed travelling eastbound on Arcola Avenue, where it pulled over,” police said in a statement.
“The driver then exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Officers quickly took the suspect into custody without incident at approximately 1:30 p.m.”
Police said the man is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, impaired driving, theft of a motor vehicle, flight from a peace officer and breaching a probation order.
