Sunday morning brings Saskatoon ramp closures
The city will also be doing work on two freeway ramps beginning on Sunday.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, work will begin on the McOrmond Drive northbound ramp to Highway 5 eastbound for pole replacements. The city estimated that work will take about an hour to complete.
Work on the McKercher Drive ramp to College Drive westbound will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday. It will be closed for Saskatoon Light and Power work, which is also expected to take around one hour.
These closures – both the underpass and the ramps – could impact Saskatoon Transit routes, the city noted. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the construction.
The city thanked drivers for their patience during the work.
