Regina police have charged a 27-year-old man in two arson incidents that happened earlier this month.
One happened around midnight on April 11, in the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent. Officers found a vehicle in the driveway of a home “fully engulfed in flames.” A patrol car fire extinguisher was used to put out the blaze.

The second arson happened less than a week later on April 16, in the East Sandpiper Crescent area, where a second vehicle was set on fire.
On Thursday evening, Saskatoon police arrested the man and charged him with two counts of arson with disregard for human life, one count of disguise with intent and one count of mischief under $5,000
The man appeared in Regina Provincial Court on April 24.
