Police in Regina say four people are facing charges after a three-month investigation into a home invasion and robbery that left a 50-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to police, officers were called to a home on Robinson Street on Jan. 29 for a report of an injured person.

“The caller told police that an injured adult male had arrived at her residence with what appeared to be significant stab wounds,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
Police said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Through investigation, police learned the victim was at his home with an adult female, who was known to him,” the police force explained.
“Two male suspects broke into the home, stabbed the victim and assaulted him with bear spray before taking undisclosed items from the home and fleeing the scene.”
Police said the woman who was inside the home with the victim also fled after the attack, along with another woman who was waiting outside.
According to police, all four suspects – a 22-year-old woman, a 30-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man – are now facing robbery charges. The younger man has also been charged with breaking and entering, police said, while the older man is facing an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order.
While three of the suspects appeared in court in February, police said the 33-year-old woman made her first court appearance on Monday.
