Regina’s Robert Ripplinger says he cried happy tears after winning a big jackpot on a VLT machine on Sunday.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Ripplinger won $1,144,573 while playing a machine at Trifon’s Pizza on Broad Street.

“I was shocked, excited and then tears!” Ripplinger said in a statement.
He said he’s already got plans for the big windfall.
“We’re going to give each of our children $100,000,” Ripplinger said. “We also have an appointment with the bank to invest the rest.”
The Vault Breaker jackpot links 4,200 VLT machines at 550 sites around the province. Since 2017, it has awarded more than $62 million to 62 winners.
