In a release from the City of Saskatoon, it explained one lane of traffic going in each direction will be maintained throughout the project.
Detours are in place to direct drivers around the road work.
Two weeks have been allotted for the project to be completed, depending on weather conditions and barring other unforeseen circumstances, the city said.
The detours could impact Saskatoon Transit, and service alerts can be found online and on related phone applications.
