A 43-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision near Shaunavon on Wednesday evening.
According to a statement issued on Friday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were called to the scene of the crash on Highway 37, about 24 kilometres south of Shaunavon, at around 6 p.m.

“Investigation determined a semi and minivan collided. A passenger in the minivan was taken to hospital by EMS where they were declared deceased,” the RCMP said in the statement.
“She has been identified as a 43-year-old female from Climax and Medicine Hat. Her family has been notified.”
Police said the driver of the minivan was also hospitalized with serious injuries, while the driver of the semi was unhurt.
“Shaunavon RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the Mounties added.
