A 44-year-old driver from Regina is dead after a crash on Highway 11 near Craik on Saturday.
Saskatchewan RCMP did not disclose the sex of the dead person in a June 8 news release but said their family had been notified.
RCMP said officers from the Craik detachment were told about the crash around noon on June 6, and found an SUV and car had collided. The driver of the car was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.
A passenger from the car and the driver of the SUV were both taken to hospital with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash initially closed the northbound lanes of Highway 11, and Craik RCMP continue to investigate with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
