A two-vehicle crash on Highway 335 claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman on Thursday morning.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were called to the scene of a crash between a semi and an SUV near the community of Armley, east of Prince Albert, shortly after 11 a.m.

“The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 57-year-old female from the RM of Connaught. Her family has been notified,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The driver and sole occupant of the semi was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.”
The Mounties said the crash remains under police investigation.
