Two Saskatchewan RCMP detachments are asking for help from the public to identify suspects in relation to armed robberies in the province on July 3.
La Ronge RCMP said officers received a report of an injured man in a vehicle parked on Morins Hill in La Ronge around 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
Officers responded and “determined an altercation occurred between three adult males in the vehicle,” according to a release from police.

“During the altercation, a male was assaulted with a weapon.”
The RCMP said the injured man was able to leave the vehicle and the scene. He was taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two men reportedly fled in the man’s vehicle. Officers said they found the vehicle in La Ronge, but did not find the suspects immediately.
One man has been charged, “as a result of continued investigation,” and there is a warrant issued for his arrest.
Blake Roberts, 22, is described as 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He also goes by “Blake Charles.”
Roberts is facing charges of robbery with a weapon and failure to comply.
La Ronge RCMP are asking people to help find Roberts. Officers are continuing to identify and find the second male suspect in the incident, as well.
“If you see Blake Roberts, do not approach him. Report all information about his whereabouts, or information about this incident,” police said, by contacting La Ronge RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
La Ronge RCMP are still investigating.
Police seek SUV, suspect in second armed robbery
Shellbrook RCMP are trying to identify a suspect and find a stolen vehicle after an armed robbery near Holbein.
RCMP received a report of the incident just after 1 p.m. on Friday.
“Officers responded and determined an adult male with a weapon threatened an adult female and stole her vehicle while she was parked on the side of Highway #693, just north of Holbein,” RCMP said in a news release. “The suspect fled north on Highway #693 in the stolen vehicle.”
There were no physical injuries reported to police.
The RCMP said the stolen vehicle is described as a grey 2011 Kia Sorento SUV. It has a Saskatchewan license plate: 491 PCN. The suspect is described as a man who is bald and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
“We do not have further details about the suspect at this time,” police stated.
Neither the suspect nor the SUV have been located at this time.
