A precautionary drinking water advisory has been issued for the Village of Pleasantdale, located 36 kilometres south of Melfort.
The advisory is for community residents and any individuals who may access the water from its system.

There are several steps that should be taken by people affected by the advisory. Drinking water should be boiled for at least one minute before use, as should water used for washing fruits and vegetables and for brushing teeth.
An alternative water source that is known to be safe, such as bottled water can also be used.
Updates can be monitored on the SaskAlert app and the Pleasantville village office window. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
