Three people are facing charges after RCMP officers responding to a crash near Pelican Narrows allegedly found a loaded gun and open alcohol inside the vehicle.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers responding to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 135 on Monday afternoon found a vehicle that had gone off the road and into the ditch.

“Officers observed a loaded handgun and open alcohol in the vehicle. The occupants were arrested,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The occupants did not report injuries to police.”
The three occupants of the vehicle, ages 21, 28 and 28, are each facing nine weapons charges, the RCMP said, while the alleged driver was also charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failure to comply with an undertaking.
“She was also arrested on a warrant from Sandy Bay RCMP for failing to attend court,” the Mounties added.
