Starting Thursday, several traffic restrictions will make getting around Regina a little more difficult.
Winnipeg Street, from College Avenue to 13th Avenue, will be closed to replace the water main and repair the road. The work is expected to last until Sept. 15.

Water connection repairs will also impact Parliament Avenue from Cameron Street to Robinson Street on Thursday and Friday.
The northbound lane of Albert Street, from Hill Avenue to Assiniboia Avenue, will be restricted from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday for tree maintenance.
The parking lane and sidewalk at the southwest corner of Broad Street and Saskatchewan Drive will be closed through Sept. 14 to allow for exterior building painting.
The city says Regina Transit riders may be affected by the road work and encouraged them to check online for updates.
North Service Road closes Monday
The North Service Road Culvert Replacement Project will begin Monday, Aug. 24, closing the road for about seven weeks.
The work is part of the Regina Bypass Project and will include site preparation, culvert removal and installation, roadway restoration and site restoration.
Detours will be in place, and drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time in the area.
