A multi-agency police investigation in Prince Albert has resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old man and the seizure of guns and drugs.
On Aug. 28, a patrol unit member arrested the 34-year-old on outstanding warrants.

Later that day, members of the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team, patrol unit and RCMP Crime Reduction Team executed search warrants at a residence in the 400 block of 18th Street West and a vehicle connected to the investigation.
Police located and seized the following items: two 12-gauge shotgun rounds; one .410-calibre round; four airsoft pistols; one Winchester Model 94 .30-30 rifle; a Mossberg Model 560 sawed-off shotgun and barrel; a Steambow crossbow; 10 large-calibre rounds; two .22 calibre rounds; 1.3 grams of methamphetamine; and one digital scale.

A search incident to arrest resulted in the seizure of approximately 11.4 grams of methamphetamine, 2.6 grams of cocaine, a machete, $2,532 in Canadian currency, a digital scale and a large quantity of small bags.
The 34-year-old was charged with six offences following the arrest, according to Prince Albert police, including breach of a release order.
He’s also facing an additional 15 charges as a result of the search, including firearms offences under the Criminal Code and weapons-related offences.
The accused is scheduled to appear Thursday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
