On Wednesday 24-year-old Jesse David Taylor from Moose Jaw pleaded guilty to impaired driving in crash that killed three of his friends.
The horrific rollover outside Moose Jaw in 2013 left three young men – all young fathers – dead, and another critically injured. Their friend charged with impaired driving causing death.
Police say Taylor had a blood alcohol content over .08 when the five friends were driving on Highway 2 south of Moose Jaw Sept. 15, 2013.
He lost control and the truck rolled several times killing Josh Patterson, Jason Friesen, and Justin Kowalski while a fourth person was left in serious condition.
With the guilty plea, the Crown and defence have jointly asked for a four-year prison sentence, followed by a five-year driving ban.
