Weyburn Red Wings relocate to Assiniboia due to second ammonia leak

The Red Wings will host the Kindersley Klippers in Assiniboia on Friday.
The University of Regina Rams will host the first-ever game at the new Mosaic Stadium.
The team will take on the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on Oct. 1, 2016.
The City of Regina will use the event to test the new facility, which will be substantially complete by that fall date.
It is hoped 16,500 fans will attend and will give the organizers a chance to try out the P.A. system, elevators and washrooms. Parking, security, road closures, buses and how easily fans get in and out of the stadium will also be evaluated.
“This test game has been speculated about for quite some time and I’m very pleased to make this official. This will give us our first chance at making sure that we all have the fantastic experience we envisioned when new Mosaic Stadium officially opens next year,” said Mayor Michael Fougere.
The Rams game is the first of three events that will test out the new facility.
The third is one of the Saskatchewan Roughriders pre-season games of the 2017 season. The second is yet to be announced.
U of R Rams flex packages go on sale on Tuesday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Each flex package includes one ticket to the Oct. 1 game, as well as an option to purchase up to three additional tickets during the pre-sale opportunity.
Flex packages are available through reginarams.com, the Rams administration office, Riderville.com and the Saskatchewan Roughrider box office.
General public tickets will be available on July 26.
Rams head coach Stephen Bryce doesn’t think they will have any trouble reaching the target tickets sales.
“I think if we put together two really competitive teams that are fighting for the number one spot in Canada West, we might blow that away, we might get more, we might have to turn people down,” Bryce said.
