Two people are under arrest, and one person is in hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, after a string of crashes in Regina Tuesday evening.
Regina police officers were first called to the intersection of Winnipeg Street and Victoria Avenue to deal with a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian at 8:30 p.m. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the vehicle then sped off, and four minutes later, crashed into a tree and a house at Broad Street and 2nd Avenue North. In that case, photos appear to show a vehicle that was flipped over in the front yard of the house.
The two suspects inside the vehicle got out and ran away, but were caught by officers a short time later.
Now, Victoria Lee Andrews, 18, and a 17-year-old girl are facing a bunch of charges. Both made their first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
