The cause of a collision between a marked Regina police car and a concrete truck is still under investigation.
It happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police said a concrete truck heading westbound on Victoria Avenue collided with a marked police car heading northbound on Elphinstone Street.
After an investigation, the driver of the concrete truck, a 57-year-old man, was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for disobeying a red light.
The police constable was taken to hospital. No injuries occurred.
