High-risk sexual offender living in Regina arrested

On May 5, Regina police warned the public about a violent sexual offender who was moving into the Heritage neighbourhood, now 57-year-old Dennis Gladue has been arrested for breaching his probation conditions.

Gladue has a criminal history involving sexual offenses and was known for re-offending.

On May 9, Gladue was seen in a public park where children are known to attend, which is in breach of his probation.

Gladue was arrested on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Halifax Street.

He’s charged with breaching his probation order of not attending parks or playgrounds where children under 14 are, and for breaching his order of long-term supervision.

Gladue will make his first court appearance in Regina Provincial Court will be on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
