Someone in Moose Jaw has lost $24,000 after falling victim to a scam about a timeshare.
Police said the person reported being contacted by phone and email about their timeshare. The victim sent the money because they thought they were dealing with a legitimate rental company, but that was not the case.
Police are reminding people to never share personal information or send money after receiving strange phone calls.
