OK, you pick Saturday’s winner.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders complete their CFL regular season Saturday evening with a home game against the B.C. Lions.
Our Green Zone pregame show starts at 3 p.m. and the postgame show runs for three hours after the game ends. One feature of the pregame show is called “Bold Predictions”; it features Jamie Nye, Belton Johnson, Warren Woods and me, guessing what might happen.
Sometimes we look really stupid. How could we expect the Roughriders to lose 31-0 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers then rebound with a 29-24 victory over the Calgary Stampeders? Who knew quarterback Zach Collaros would play his best game for the Roughriders? How could the Roughriders overcome the absence of two starting defensive linemen, two offensive linemen and their best receiver, most explosive tailback and top kick returner? They did all those things and really showed everyone they’re positively, absolutely unbeatable as they head into the playoffs. Right? Right?
