People across Saskatchewan will take pause Sunday to reflect on the sacrifice and service of Canada’s military men and women.
A couple of Remembrance Day ceremonies are scheduled in Regina on Nov. 11.
Remembrance Day service in Victoria Park
This year, the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets will host a Remembrance Day parade and service in Victoria Park.
The parade to the cenotaph starts at 10:15 a.m., with the Ceremony of Remembrance beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The laying of wreaths will follow the ceremony.
Remembrance Day service at the Brandt Centre
People in Regina can also take in the annual Remembrance Day service at the Brandt Centre Sunday.
Doors open at 9 a.m., with the ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m.
People are asked to be seated by 10:15 a.m. at the latest.
Admission is free of charge with general seating.
With three events going on in and around Evraz Place, the venue has released a parking plan. However, Evraz Place encourages guests to arrive early and to expect traffic delays.
