A 21-year-old Regina man is charged with attempted murder after an incident on Saturday, where a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the head.
Around 6:55 a.m., police were called to a home in the 1700 block of Quebec Street.
When officers arrived, they were told the victim was being driven to the hospital by friends, where he was treated for his numerous injuries.
Officers searched the home for other injuries, and discovered a number of people inside.
Four people were detained as part of the investigation, but were later released with no charges.
After an investigation by patrol officers and the Street Gang Unit, a suspect was arrested around 7 p.m. that day.
In addition to attempted murder charges, the 21-year-old man is facing others involving breach of probation and carrying a concealed weapon.
He made his first court appearance Monday morning.
