Weyburn police have now laid charges against three women related to the death of Nathan Hutt earlier this month.
Police tweeted Friday night, the women have been charged with accessory after the fact, obstruction of justice and possession of a weapon without a licence.
They are 18, 19 and 21 years old and have been released from custody on a promise to appear in court. Their first appearances are scheduled in Weyburn on Feb. 26.
Hutt, 18, was one of three men who allegedly staged a home invasion in the city on the evening of Jan. 4.
According to police, an altercation broke out inside the home, with shots fired.
Hutt was sent to hospital along with another man, where he died the next morning.
Keegan Muxlow, who was inside the home during the incident, was charged with second–degree murder and firearms offences in his death.
The two other suspects were charged with break-and-enter and firearms offences.
Weyburn’s mayor, Marcel Roy, said it was the city’s first homicide since 1995.
