Pool at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park Demolished

The 46-year-old pool at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park…is no more.

After an inaccessible leak was found last year, officials determined that if they tried to fix the leak, it would just lead to more parts failing, and was eventually deemed irreparable.

The pool has already been demolished and design work on a new pool is underway.

Buffalo Pound Provincial Park opens the gates for the 2019 camping season in May.
