The Madden ratings are out — which is annual evidence that, despite claiming they don’t care what people or reporters or anybody says about them, players are lying.

These are ratings that have players judged on speed, agility and strength to come up with their overall rating out of 100.

Tom Brady, usually reserved, chirped back at a Twitter troll claiming they could run faster than Brady, believing the Patriots QB was overrated at 96.

Chargers receiver Keenan Allen is quite upset his rating dropped from 91 last year to 89 this year. His rant can be seen on his social media page.

Yes, the player reactions have started to come as a promotional tool. But there are some truly upset millionaires worried about their rankings in a video game.

Some players use external motivation more so than others — and whatever works for you. But never believe someone when they say they don’t care or pay attention.

They do. And as someone who has to sometimes criticize these athletes, you will hear about it whether your criticism is just or not.
