A 20-year-old man has been charged with being an accessory after the fact in connection with Regina’s ninth murder of 2020.
The Regina Police Service said the man was arrested early Thursday.
Two people — 22-year-old Dominick Mark Cochrane and 23-year-old Angelica Violet Taypotat — initially were charged with attempted murder in the death of Earl Francis Dufour.
The charges against Cochrane and Taypotat were upgraded to first-degree murder after Dufour died Saturday.
On Aug. 1, the 30-year-old Lebret man was found shot outside a house in Regina’s Mount Royal neighbourhood. The following day, Cochrane and Taypotat were arrested after police raided a house on Wolfe Place.
