The City of Regina is extending the season for the Regent Outdoor Pool and the city’s 15 spray pads.
In a media release Friday, the city said it usually closes its outdoor pools around Labour Day and the spray pads around mid-September. The tentative closing date for Regent Outdoor Pool this year is Sept. 13, with spray pads to close Sept. 20.
“This extension of operating time will continue as long as weather co-operates and there is sufficient uptake from residents,” the city said in the release.
Regent Outdoor Pool is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, while spray pads operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The city reminded parents to talk to their children about the guidelines put in place by the Saskatchewan Health Authority to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.
