Youth injured after swimming accident in Wakamow Valley

Moose Jaw police, fire and paramedics responded to the Wakamow Valley area Friday after a youth disappeared under the water while swimming.

A search by emergency responders helped locate the person in medical distress.

They were taken to a Regina hospital.

At this time police have not released any more information about the incident, including the identity of the young person involved.
