A man is facing a variety of charges after three separate incidents.
On Oct. 8, Regina police were called to the 2000 block of Ottawa Street, where they discovered a 36-year-old woman dead.
Through an investigation with the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, her death was determined to be a murder. The woman was identified and her next of kin was notified.
Thirty-eight-year-old Gregory David Keepness has been charged with second-degree murder as a result of that investigation.
Keepness was arrested on Thursday and was to make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Friday.
Police said in a separate, unrelated incident, Keepness was charged with attempted murder on the same day of the murder on the 2100 block of Broder Street. Police say a woman was stabbed a few blocks from where the murder occurred.
Keepness was charged with attempted murder a second time on Oct. 18, when he allegedly stabbed a man during a robbery.
Keepness made his first appearance on two charges of attempted murder and one robbery charge on Oct. 24.
