Police in Moose Jaw handed out 140 tickets and 15 roadside suspensions during a two-day traffic enforcement blitz last week.
On Wednesday and Thursday, members of the Moose Jaw Police Service and other agencies stopped 780 vehicles at locations around the city to check for violations.

Police said the project focused on common traffic issues, including speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, seatbelt use, commercial standards and unlicensed drivers.
In addition to the tickets and roadside suspension for alcohol or drugs, the two-day initiative also saw police issue 197 warnings. Officers also performed 528 roadside screening tests for alcohol and 17 oral fluid tests for drugs.
