The finding of human remains outside of a home in Regina has triggered a Regina Police Service investigation.
The police service, alongside the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, is investigating the remains that were found at a home in the 1300 block of Retallack Street.

Officers, who were dispatched to the call on June 9 around 4:15 p.m., located the remains upon arrival. The area was secured and officers asked for additional resources from the police service’s major crimes unit, forensic identification unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
“The death is considered suspicious however, at this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public,” police said in a release.
“This investigation is not connected to the ongoing investigation of a missing 35 year-old woman.”
Police are asking anyone with information that could help police with the investigation to call police or Regina Crime Stoppers.
“The Regina Police Service thanks the public and the media for their assistance in this matter,” the release stated.
