Paddock, 26, joined the Regina Pats organization as a goaltending coach ahead of the 2024-25 season and is now entering his third season with the team, his second as manager of hockey operations.
Paddock, who is from Brandon, Man., had a WHL career that included four seasons as a goaltender with the Regina Pats from 2016-20.
He helped lead the Pats to the Memorial Cup final in 2018 and was named to the CHL Memorial Cup All-Star Team after the tournament.
“He ranks 14th in franchise history in games played by a goaltender (114), minutes played (6,314) and goals-against average (3.27),” the Pats shared in a release.
Paddock attended Acadia University and the University of the Fraser Valley between 2021-24, using the WHL scholarship program, before he returned to coach for the Pats.
Players will be evaluated throughout the 2026-27 Canadian Hockey League season ahead of the World Challenge tournament and at Canada’s national under-17 development camp later this month in Ontario.
