A section of Highway 4 north of Swift Current is still closed while a Hazmat team works to clean up a spill of powder uranium.
Hazmat team was called out to help after a tractor trailer hauling uranium rolled on Highway 4.
No one was hurt in the rollover which happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 4, about 10 kilometres north of Swift Current.
The RCMP told everyone within a 1.6 kilometre radius what happened, but decided an evacuation was unnecessary because there were no homes downwind from the rollover.
On Tuesday, Swift Current Rural RCMP Detachment turned over the scene to the Ministry of Environment.
