A 15-year-old Regina boy is facing charges after police recovered a shotgun and a rifle from a home on Saturday.
Regina police officers obtained a search warrant and carried out a search at a house on the 300 block north Toronto Street at 5 p.m. on Saturday. They found a shotgun and a rifle and ammunition for both firearms.
Police say the shotgun was a match to one that was stolen from a rural property in a recent break and enter.
The teenager was arrested without incident. He faces multiple charges for unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property under $5,000, careless use and unsafe storage of a firearm, and breach of undertaking.
