Regina police have charged a second person with murder after a shooting in south Regina last fall.
Desiree Morin-Jim, 18, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Miguel Lane on Oct. 24, 2018.
Austin Thomas Yates was the first to be charged on Oct. 26, 2018.
Lane was 21 years old when he died.
Morin-Jim made her first court appearance Monday morning.
The shooting happened on Oct. 23 on the 2800 block of Sinton Avenue.
Regina police are still investigating the shooting and the circumstances of Lane’s death; they’re asking for anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 306-777-6500, or to call Crime Stoppers.
