Regina police are investigating two robberies at stores in the city on Wednesday, one in the early morning and one at night.
Officers were called to a business on the 6200 block of Rochdale Boulevard near the Pasqua Street intersection at 7:21 a.m. on Wednesday. A woman allegedly entered the business with a gun and demanded money. No one was hurt but the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect as Aboriginal, approximately in her 50’s, about five feet six inches tall, with black hair, wearing a black bunny hug, black pants and sunglasses.
Evening robbery on Broad Street North
In an unrelated report, police were called to another robbery on the 100 block of Broad Street North near 5th Avenue North at 9:14 p.m. on Wednesday.
In that case, a man reportedly entered a business demanding money. He then jumped over the counter to steal cigarettes and left with no cash. A victim suffered minor injuries after being pushed during the robbery.
The suspect is described as an Aboriginal man, about 20 years old, six feet tall with a slim build. He was apparently wearing a maroon hoodie with the word “Obey” stitched across the chest and a yellow logo on the back with black shorts, brown boots and a pink bandana covering his face.
