The Saskatchewan RCMP renewed its calls for public assistance Wednesday as it continues its search for a seven-year-old girl who’s believed to be with her anti-vax father.
Michael Gordon Jackson is wanted on a charge of abduction in contravention of a custody or parenting order. He took his daughter, Sarah, instead of returning her to her mother.
In a media release Wednesday, the RCMP said “sightings and information from tips received have not yet assisted investigators in locating Sarah or Michael.”
The Mounties also warned people who might be helping the father evade police.
“We remind these individuals you are helping to keep Sarah from her mom,” the RCMP release said. “It has been over two months since Sarah’s mom has seen her daughter. Please reconsider providing further assistance to Michael and help the police reunite mom and daughter.”
Anyone with information about the Jacksons’ whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers.
