A 65-year-old La Loche man has been charged with aggravated assault after police received a report of an injured man on Friday.
At about 7 a.m., La Loche RCMP received a report of an injured man at a home on Marie Street, noted police in a statement.

Officers said they immediately responded with EMS.
The Mounties said the investigation revealed an altercation between two men at the home.
“During the altercation, one of the males was injured. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature. The other male was arrested at the residence,” said the police force.
A 65-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault.
He will appear in court on Thursday.
