RCMP officers in Saskatchewan are asking the public to report any sightings of Terry McKay after the 50-year-old inmate allegedly failed to return to the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp on Friday after a temporary leave of absence.
According to police, McKay is now facing a charge of being unlawfully at large, and police are working to track him down.

McKay was described as five-foot-seven, weighing 187 pounds, with brown eyes and short, black hair.
“McKay is known to travel to the Buffalo Narrows area, but his current whereabouts are unknown,” the RCMP said in a statement.
Anyone who spots McKay was advised not to approach him, and to report the sighting to police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
The Besnard Lake Correctional Camp is located west of La Ronge. Documents published by the Government of Saskatchewan say the facility “is intended for inmates who do not present an undue risk to public safety if supervised in a reduced custody facility/unit and for whom program participation will address an identified criminogenic need and contribute to the inmate’s successful reintegration into the community.”
A similar public notice was issued by the Mounties in February after 36-year-old Thomas Hunt allegedly escaped from the camp for the second time.
